Native people lived in Canada long before European settlers came here. They lived in harmony with nature and the environment, taking what they needed to  survive. 

Activities:

1- Click on the Map of Groups button to the right and choose 3 Native groups on BC.  Write their names and shade in their territories on your blank BC map.

 

2- Click on the languages map and find the languages for the three groups you chose in step 1. Circle the included areas for each language and answer these questions:

 

 

 

 

When done: Click on the Sliammon First Voices link and go to the games page and play the word search. Then go to the Klahoose First voices page, play the same game and compare the languages.
